Our Head Golf Professional is Chris Barletta
Chris came to Bala in 2006 from Indian Valley Country Club in Telford, PA where he served
as First Assistant Golf Professional since 1990. Chris specializes in teaching and has a
reputation for running great clinics, giving lessons, and managing a first rate Junior Golf
Program. Chris achieved success as a tour player for several years in the late 90's, enjoying
the sponsorship of corporate giants such as Citgo. He closed out the millenium with an
impressive honor as a Medallist at the US Open Qualifier advancing to the regionals.
Last year, Chris won the prestigious Kiawah Island Pro-Am in the partners category
and also took second place over all in the Professional Division.
Chris specializes in the use of state-of-the-art computerized video as part of his lessons.
In January, 2008 Chris assumed the position of Club Manager.
He and his wife Marissa are currently living in the area.
